The mandibular movement trajectories and jaw positions selected from the template will be applied. Click “Preview Template” to review the setup.
Before you begin tracking, you can click the “QR code” or directly visit the Mandibular Movement Guide Website to access instructional videos and practice in advance.
Steps:
1. Select the movement type you want to record. To capture a customized movement, click the “+” button to add a new movement or jaw position.
2. Align the facial position and distance with the face scan frame on the interface. The frame will turn green when correctly aligned.
3. Press the space bar or “Start” to begin recording the trajectory.
4. Instruct the patient to complete the selected movement. Record only a single movement for each trajectory. You can add multiple recordings if necessary.
Tips:
(1) Ensure the patient keeps their head stable throughout the recording to obtain accurate mandibular movement data.
(2) If a patient’s marker falls off, pause the scan and click “Tracker Recreating” to reposition the marker.
(3) During this process, make sure the upper and lower jaws are in occlusion.
5. Press the space bar again or click “Next” to end the current trajectory recording.
6. Repeat to record the required number of trajectories (as specified in the template). Click “+” to add additional trajectories.
7. Once all trajectories for a movement are recorded, the software will automatically move to the next movement.
Notes:
- Ensure at least one trajectory is recorded for each movement type, with a maximum of five trajectories per movement.
- If the recorded trajectories do not meet expectations, click “Reset” to re-record them.
- To export trajectory data in XML format for further operation, ensure that the “CAD Type” is set to 3rd party when exporting the order.
