After the patient is properly fitted with the retractor or tracker and Marker Recognition is completed, capture facial data in the intercuspal position to record the markers' positions on the teeth and ensure alignment with the intraoral scan data.
Step 1: Scanning
Follow the Smile Face Scanning Instructions to perform the scan.
Step 2: Alignment
After the scan is completed, the software will automatically align the scanned model with the intraoral scan data.
By default, a heat map will display to visualize alignment effect; clicking the “Heat Map” to hide or show it.
If automatic alignment fails or the result is unsatisfactory, you can click “Enter Manual Align” to refine alignment in Data Alignment.
To rescan, click “Start” and repeat the process.
Step 3: Completion
Once satisfied, click “Finish” to go to the next step.
