This feature enables you to refine the trajectory playback by trimming away unnecessary sections while keeping the essential parts you wish to preserve. It provides an intuitive way to focus on the most relevant motion data and ensures that subsequent analysis and reports remain accurate.
Steps:
1. Adjust the timeline: Drag the start point (green) or the end point (gray) along the timeline to define the desired playback range.
2. Preview the result: Click “Play” to preview the adjusted clip. The blue point indicates the current playback position on the timeline.
3. Save changes: Click “Finish” to confirm and save the clipping modification.
Notes:
- Data synchronization: After trajectory clipping, the following data will be affected. Please make sure to update them in time.
- Articulator parameters: Adjusted in line with the modified trajectory.
- PDF report: The data within the report will reflect the updated trajectory. If a PDF has already been exported, it needs to be re-exported.
- Order file: If the order was exported earlier, it needs to be re-exported.
- Reversible editing: The clipping process is non-destructive. You can re-enter the clipping tool at any time to restore the original trajectory or create a new trimmed version.
