Overview

 

 

Users can freely create, import and manage orders in the order interface. 

 

 

Interface Introduction

 

 


1. New orders

Create a new order on the present account. 

 

2. Import orders

Users can import orders in the formats of inProject, dentalProject, DentalManagerPro.db and ExternalOrder.db

 

3. Manage orders

Users can double-click an order and freely manage existing orders: 

  • Duplicate: Copy the order as a new order. Users can select to save the scan data or not. If not, the new order only contains the order information without scan data. 
  • Delete: Delete the order. Users can select to save the file or not. If not, the order with scan data and design data will be deleted as a union. The order that has been uploaded to the cloud, however, cannot be deleted. 
  • Edit: Edit the order information including the patient, dentistry type and tooth. 

Attention: The scan data can be eliminated by modifying the dentistry type. So please confirm the precaution after clicking the “scan” button.

  • Export: Users can export the data in various formats to apply the data in other design software.
  • Explore: Users can check the root file folder.
  • EXOCAD: Users can directly import the scan data into EXOCAD. Please refer to the article: Binding to EXOCAD to bind the EXOCAD path first.
  • Send: Send the order to the cloud and target institution.


4. Patient List

  • New orders: Create a new order based on the patient's information.
  • Edit: Edit the patient's information.
  • Merging: Merge a patient’s information with another patient. Please refer to the article: Merging Patients.



New Order

 

 

The interfaces of different versions are not the same. Please download the latest version.

Furthermore, the interfaces of different dentistry types are diversified. Hence, here is only the introduction of functional areas, please refer to other articles to find the way of the order creation. 

In general, the interface can be divided into 3 function areas: order information, tooth selection and scan operations

1. Order Information

This area contains all the basic information about the order. Users should complete the blanks including the type, patient name and dentistry type by themselves at least. 

  • Patient Name:

For the first-time visitor, users can add a new patient by clicking the button beside the patient name blank. In the pop-up, please input the name, gender and age and click “confirm” to add and apply the patient. 

Users can search for the historical patient by inputting the name in the blank and selecting the corresponding one. 

  • Dentistry Type:

The software can support 6 kinds of dentistry types including restoration, implant, orthodontics, removable denture, other and intraoral photogrammetry. Only Aoralscan Elite can apply the intraoral photogrammetry workflow.

Tips: If the intraoral photogrammetry does not appear, please confirm the selection of devices in Settings > About > Device Type.  


2. Tooth Selection

This area contains a tooth map and some selections, where the content can be varied due to the different dentistry types. Users can select the target teeth in the tooth map by left-clicking, or cancel the tooth by right-clicking. 3. Scan Operations

Users can explore the scan results in the file folder, save the configurations or go to scan.
