Overview
The AI function in the software can remove the irrelevant miscellaneous data appearing in the scanning process of the intraoral environment, for example, the buccal, lingual and soft tissue data. With this function, the scanning speed and smoothness can be improved to a large degree.
How to activate the AI function?
When we scan the real oral environment, we can turn on the “intraoral” button in the lower left corner. The “AI scan” lights up simultaneously.
Tips:
When we scan a dental plaster model, it is recommended that the AI function should be turned off.
If users do not turn on the AI function, it will lead to the generation of redundant data and, further, a failure in the alignment of the bite. As for the solutions to this problem, please refer to the article: Why the bite data is inaccurate?
