How to edit the scanning data?

Solution 1: Edition tool

An edition tool is provided to trim the data freely.

1. Rotate: Click the button to enter the mode. Drag the model to rotate freely. Click it again to quit the mode.

2. Brush: Select the area to trim. The brush size can be adjusted by dragging the cursor on the bar beside the brush button.

3. Free Selection: Select the area with a rope tool to trim.

4. Undo: Cancel the last operation.

5. Redo: Redo the last operation.

6. Cancel: Cancel all changes.

7. Confirm: Save all changes.

Solution 2: Remove isolated data

Click the button to remove all isolated data.

Solution 3: Part lock

The tool can be activated when scanning the pre-op or single jaws.

A brush can select areas that should be locked in the subsequent scans. These areas will not change.

Click the “unlock all data” to unlock. These areas can be revised in the subsequent scans.

Tips: Reverse selection

Click the “reverse selection" button to select other areas except for your last selected areas.

Solution 4: Undercut

Undercut can be calculated and checked after scanning the corresponding areas by clicking the “undercut” button. Select a target area by brush. The undercut will be generated automatically. Move the cursor to show the specific values in this area.

Rotate your model to adjust the undercut view, and click the “calculate” button to generate a ribbon map from a selected view.

Solution 5: Swap jaws

If the maxilla and mandible data are reversed during scanning, click the “Swap jaws” button to switch the data after scanning or post-processing.
