Overview
The coded scan bodies can be converted to the target implant system that is compatible with the HACS kit. A wide range of compatible systems supports the application of Elite. Converted scan bodies possess higher data quality, assisting the precise design of dentures. The conversion can be conducted in several stages by technicians or dentists to ensure accuracy. This article describes the ways of conversion of coded scan bodies.
How to convert the coded scan bodies?
The conversion of coded scan bodies can be performed in 3 stages, including the creation of orders, the conversion, and the cloud platform, individually.
- At the start of the order, the software will require users to convert the coded scan bodies to the brand implant system after clicking “Scan”. Users can click “YES” to enter the conversion interface. Select the target system in the database and apply it to all individuals.
- After the alignment of soft tissues, the software will turn to the conversion interface automatically.
- After sending the order to the cloud platform, the dentists and technicians are enabled to convert the coded scan bodies, even after conversion in the software.
Hence, dentists and technicians can ensure the accuracy of conversion through multiple confirmations of the converted implant system.
In the preview stage of results, the data quality of the coded scan bodies has been greatly improved compared to normal scanning.
