Overview
The new version of CreIBT can provide a treatment plan with a target tooth position to generate the indirect bonding trays and simplify bracket placement. Multiple brands of brackets can be selected to display the results. Meanwhile, a report can be generated along with the treatment plan.
How to generate the indirect bonding trays?
STEP 1: Segmentation
After scanning and entering the module, the software will conduct segmentation. Users can modify the results. Please refer to STEP 3 of the previous article: MentronTrack 2.1.
STEP 2: Arrangement
In the arrangement, the software will automatically generate a treatment plan using AI. Users can also modify the arrangement result by various tools. The adjustment approaches are the same as those in Consul OS. Please refer to the previous article: Ortho Simulation 3.0.
STEP 3: FA
The software can automatically recognize the FA points on each tooth. Users can also modify the positions of FA points and angles of brackets on each tooth by dragging. There will be 3 views in the upper right corner for reference. The FA points of initial positions and target positions will be changed together.
Besides, users can import X-ray images to judge the direction of fang.
STEP 4: Bracket
In the new version, the software includes more selectable brands of brackets. In the future, we will add more brackets continually.
Select the brands and types of brackets and check the status of brackets on each tooth. Then all brackets will be placed on the model. In this stage, it is still possible to modify the positions and angles of brackets.
STEP 5: Create guides
In the guide stage, users can select brackets or click quick selection to group the brackets. Next, click “add to list” and repeat the step for the remaining brackets. Then, click “OK” to create groups of guides.
STEP 6: Edit guide
Select one group of guides, and click “guide edit”. Here, users can modify the tray in detail. The height of the tray will be shown.
Drag the yellow sphere to move the position. Drag the blue cubes to modify the height. Drag the red cubes to change the height. Drag the green cubes to adjust the length.
Tips: Guide template
In Setting > Create a new template, users can customize the parameters of the guides and adjust the tightness of guides.

STEP 7: Export
Users can export tooth models with brackets in the STL format.
Users can also export certain groups of brackets by selecting from the guide list and clicking the export button.
STEP 8: IBT report
Click the report button in the corner to create a report. The bracket information, models and location information can be included in the report. Users can save the report in PDF format or upload it to the cloud. Then, a QR code will be generated and can be shared with patients.
