The feature planes and feature points of the model will be automatically identified for orienting correctly to the coordinate system after entering Benchmarks. It has the front view, side view, and top view of the model. You can also manually adjust the feature planes and feature points of the model to improve the accuracy of facial measurement.
Adjust Feature Plane
The feature plane is divided into the median sagittal plane (red plane) and the Frankfort horizontal plane (blue plane). Adjust the model of one of the views in the three views, and the models in the other two views and the feature plane of the preview will change.
Tips:
1. The preview view is for display only. Please adjust the feature planes in the three views on the right.
2. The median sagittal plane describes the plane that divides the torso into equal left and right parts.
3. The Frankfort horizontal plane is an imaginary plane from the bottom of the eye socket to the top of the ear opening.

Adjust Feature Point
Feature points can accurately identify facial features, thereby improving the accuracy of facial measurement. The feature points can only be moved on the surface of the model. If the model displays the feature planes and the feature point with a magnet icon is close to the feature planes, the feature point will be automatically attracted to the feature plane.
