Overview
Considering the scenario of dentists working at different clinics, our new FScan software, version 21xx, now allows importing orders across institutions. Users can either create a new patient profile or attribute the order to an existing patient after importing the order.
How to import orders across institutions and create or synchronize patient information?
STEP 1: Import local data
Click the “Import order” button on the homepage and select the file with the .fsProject or .inProject suffix for import.
STEP 2: Manage patient information
Click “Yes” when prompted to attribute this order to an existing patient. Then you can synchronize the basic information with the existing patient by searching the patient's name or phone number.
If the user click “No”, the patient information for this order will automatically populate in the “New Patient” window and you need to confirm the dentist corresponding to this order.
