Overview
A high accuracy coded scan body kit (HACS) is provided along with AoralScan Elite to perform scans for the implants. To realize a smooth scan process, it is mandatory to check the HACS kit and import the library into the software. This article introduces the steps for checking the HACS kit to ensure intact accessible information.
How to check the HACS kit?
A HACS kit contains identification information, type information, 9 HACS and the installation tools.
- Identification information
Each HACS kit is unique with its own serial number and QR code. Users can import the library of the kit by scanning the QR code or inputting the serial number.
Each HACS similarly contains the identification information at the bottom. Meanwhile, each possesses their own identification number. For example, the identification number of the above HACS is 2405070004-A25-2, containing the production date, length and number in the kit.
Users need to ensure the HACS is included in the corresponding kit. If not, there will be a risk in the accuracy of the scanning results.
If it is necessary to have a spare HACS, please provide the identification information of the HACS to our supporters.
- Type information
Before use, users should confirm the HACS kit is compatible with the implant system and MUA types for cases. Please refer to the previous article: Compatible Implant System to check the compatible situations.
- HACS
The HACS kit includes 9 HACS with 3 different lengths, including 15, 20 and 25mm.
- Installation tools
The HACS kit has a torque wrench and 2 screwdrivers. The HACS can be installed with existing tools or electronic screwdrivers.
