Battery Handling for International Shipment and Initial Use
1. Purpose
To ensure compliance with air transportation regulations and maintain proper device functionality upon delivery.
2. Scope
Applicable to all carts with built-in batteries intended for international shipment.
3. Procedure
3.1 Pre-Shipment Preparation
1. Verify that the battery charge level does not exceed 30% in accordance with air transport safety regulations.
2. If necessary, discharge the battery to reach the required level.
3. Enable Shutdown Mode to minimize power consumption during transportation.
4. Confirm that the device is fully powered off and properly secured for shipment.
3.2 During Transportation
1. Ensure the device remains in Shutdown Mode throughout transit.
2. Avoid any actions that may activate or charge the device during shipping and storage.
3.3 Upon Delivery / Initial Use
1. Connect the device to a mains power supply using the provided power cable.
2. Allow the device to receive power and activate the battery.
3. Power on the device following standard operating procedures.
4. Verify that the device is functioning normally.

- If the device cannot be powered on upon arrival, ensure it is connected to mains power before troubleshooting.
How to enter Shut Down Mode?
1. Exit all applications on the computer.
2. Shut down the computer operating system.
1. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force a power shutdown.
2. Follow the correct procedure to properly shut down the operating system, preventing data loss and reducing the lifespan of the battery from forced power off.
3. Avoid frequent power cycling of the power chassis unless necessary, as it may shorten the battery lifespan.
