Which disinfectant solution should be used to clean the coded scan body? And which ones cannot be use?

Symptom:


Possible reason: 

  • The cleaning solution does the damage to the surface
  • Ultrasonic cleaner does the damage to the surface.

Important Notice :

  1. Use distilled water and enzymatic cleaning solution with proper ratio of 1:100-200. 
  2. Recommended soak time of 10 mins and above.
  3. Wipe with lint-free cloth.
  4. Sterilization according to our official guidance.

DO NOT USE

  • Do not use cleaning solutions that contain alkali, oxidants, or any material sensitive to aluminum.
  • Material, such as: Hydrogen peroxide and potassium hydroxide, are strictly forbidden.
  • Do not use tap water to clean the coded scanbodies, instead, use distilled water.
  • DO NOT use an ultrasonic cleaner for coded scanbodies. Which can damage the surfaces and leading to a loss of accuracy/dot capturing issue during scan.
