The Oral health report function is a tool for oral health management, AI-assisted in identifying oral diseases. The software facilitates visual communication between dentists and patients, allowing for the quick creation of comprehensive oral health reports. The official version and the beta version can meet different needs of users.
How to generate a new oral health report?
Tips: The official version is the same as that of previous versions.
STEP 1: Create an order and collect oral data
Create an order and scan oral data normally. Click the “oral health report” button. Enter the beta version.
STEP 2: AI assisting diagnosis
Determine the template of reports in the pop-up and turn on the Assist Mode. Click the “start creation” button.
Tips:
Assist Mode: Assist mode enables users to apply AI in diagnosis of oral disease. However, compared with the official version, only caries, pigmentation and calculus could be detected by AI in the beta version.
Template Type: 3 different types of templates could be selected. For adult, advanced and basic template could be chosen. For child, only standard edition can be selected. The advanced template can meet general needs of users, and the basic template was provided by the COHF.
Symptom solution setup: users can use original solutions, customize solutions or conceal solutions by selecting corresponding items.
Tips: Tips: The “quick report” button could generate a QR code of reports immediately. Users can export the QR code image or copy the link, enabling users to share the report freely.
In the pop-up of symptom results, you can check the diagnosis results one by one. For a suspected occasion, AI would provide several options of disease for users. You should select one from the options according to the real situation. You can confirm and select the solutions and add notes further.
Or you can click the “select the first options” to select symptoms instantly. Solutions will be generated simultaneously. Click the “confirm” button.
STEP 3: Communication Stage
Various tools could be applied in the communication stage.
Users can turn it on or off by clicking the nearby button. Symptoms navigation enables users to locate specific symptoms in the oral cavity by clicking the symptoms. Users can also delete the symptoms together by clicking the “delete” button.
Corresponding 3D labels can be clicked to present details. These details including classification, teeth positions, notes and solutions can be revised on the right side.
Click the “communication mode” to launch the graffiti mode. A fluorescent pen could be applied in marking areas that should be paid attention.
An observation glass was provided to zoom in. Drag the glass to inspect details of the teeth model.
Model analysis including dentition situation, dental crowding, Bolton ratio, occlusion color map, overbite and overjet can be checked.
Tips: Different from the measurements in MentronTrack, the model analysis results cannot be revised.
STEP 4: Creation of new symptoms
Click the “create new symptoms” button to launch a camera aperture.
Drag the camera aperture to target areas and click the “create symptom” button.
Next, select the symptom classification, teeth position and add notes and solutions. Click the “confirmed” button to create a new symptom in the navigation list.
STEP 5: Report generation
Click the “generate report” in the lower left corner, then a report will be generated automatically. The report contains models, model analysis and details of symptoms. If you want to create a report with more information, please click the “add data” button to add necessary items. Then, you can save the PDF file or generate a QR code by clicking the buttons in the lower control bar.
If you want to update the report, you can click the “generate report” button after revision, and click the “QR code can be updated” button to regenerate a QR code.
